European Economic Area and Swiss nationals and family
European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss nationals can study anywhere in the EEA.
An EEA or Swiss national who can present an EEA or Swiss passport or national identity card can be enrolled or registered on a course of study.
Family members, of any nationality, who are with an EEA or Swiss national in the UK can also study. They need to provide evidence of their relationship to the EEA or Swiss national and that the EEA or Swiss national is in the UK.
Some EEA and Swiss nationals have a registration certificate issued in the UK.
Their non-EEA family members might have an EEA family permit issued abroad or a residence card issued in the UK.
These documents can also be in the form of a biometric residence permit.
