Family members
Most immigration categories allow people to have family members with them in the UK.
The requirements are different, depending largely on whether the main migrant has limited leave or has settled status. Limited leave means that there is a time limit on how long a person can stay in the UK. Settled status means that a person has no time limits on his or her stay.
Most family members are allowed to work and to be self-employed.
They can all study without restriction.
They will usually be able to present an entry clearance sticker in their passport or a biometric residence permit that states that they are in the UK as a partner or child.
